Welcome to REAL ESTATE Lobsta!

One of the most popular campuses in Maine's college system is the University of Maine's Orono campus. Home to the University of Maine Black Bears! The Black Bears are a perennial power in NCAA hockey and the campus is quite impressive. We thought it would be interesting to hear about college life from the students in today’s world. The college offers a national spotlight, is in northern Maine and is a well attended campus.

Please fell free to ad your thoughts about college life in a campus dorm or apartment off campus where winter comes early and the Black Bears rule!

Another snow storm expected today/tonight and into Thursday evening. Snow expected 3-7 inches. We already got so much snow! Plus more snow over the weekend! I wish i bought some furniture or jewelry or something with one of those deals where if it snows on christmas its free. Its supposed to snow on the 25th!

Yeah well what can one expect living in Orono, Maine? When its cold its freezing and when its hot its humid. I dont know if the mills have anything to do with the overcast but i do know they do have everything to do with that awesome smell every week or so when they fire them bad boys up. You got to love the snow to be up here!

Hey, how are you dealing with the gray, cloudy days up there? I had to endure 3 semesters in Orono, before transferring to UMass Amherst. It seemed like everyday was overcast - due to the mills maybe? I seriously thought I had seasonal affective disorder!

Today was freezing, the Hockey game is this Saturday, cant wait. There is a lot of Black Bear Pride on campus, which i think really helps the players out, especially with morale etc. All the seats are filled every game and the president of our university goes to each one. I get free tix for every game for being a student which is great because they are $20 otherwise. I remember last game i went to, I brought my girlfriend, so i just was going to sit in line (which is a long line) and buy her ticket and get my free one. But someone in the line came up to us and asked if we wanted two tix and he came to the game because he didn't want the tix to go to waste. We got center ice seats with a great view and it was fun even tho (yes its hard to believe) the lost. Evryone loves the hockey team and its great to just show up and have fun and plus its something to do on the weekends, plus its a blast!

Well, finally I am here writing, i was supposed to comment earlier and keep everyone updated on whats going on up here in this freezing weather we are having.
Well first off, it was nice coming back to a near empty side of campus because i was able to find a parking spot right next to the dorm (which is pretty unheard of).
The sun is out today so thats pretty nice. The Maine BlackBears have a game today i just realized against Vermont at 2. We also have a game next Saturday at 7. Nothing exciting on campus today, because everyone is coming back from break. Joy. Ill keep everyone informed as to how things are up here but I think I'm running out of space to write so i will go for now, but ill write back again!
